Support for Siblings of People with Special Needs
 February 2013 - The NYS Developmental Disabilities Planning Council is looking for input from adult siblings of individuals with development disabilities in New York. The survey is available in English and Spanish. Our walk team, The Loyal Acevedos and Friends are participating in the annual fundraising event for YAI/NIPD Network called the Central Park Challenge. Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 9 AM at the 72nd Street Bandshell for the 3 K Walk and lots of fun and live entertainment. If you can't make it to the park, please support our team with a donation on our page at www.yai.org/cpc. My younger brother, Alberto, has autism and attends the Brooklyn Day Program run by YAI. This is our ninth year of being part of the CPC. We'd love to see you there!

I love the circus! I took my brother to the Ringling Bros show at MSG last year and he really enjoyed it. We're planning to go again this year. A great sibing event, no doubt! Who else is interested?
