History of the Sibling Support Wiki
The Sibling Support wiki was created to serve as a resource for a workshop series on sibling issues and training on the Sibshop model on May 8-9, 2009 coordinated by The Child's Place for Children with Special Needs/Kidsmobile, Brooklyn Public Library (Brooklyn, NY). The workshop series was conducted and facilitated by Don Meyer, Director of the Sibling Support Project.

Our walk team, The Loyal Acevedos and Friends are participating in the annual fundraising event for YAI/NIPD Network called the Central Park Challenge. Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 9 AM at the 72nd Street Bandshell for the 3 K Walk and lots of fun and live entertainment. If you can't make it to the park, please support our team with a donation on our page at www.yai.org/cpc. My younger brother, Alberto, has autism and attends the Brooklyn Day Program run by YAI. This is our ninth year of being part of the CPC. We'd love to see you there!

I love the circus! I took my brother to the Ringling Bros show at MSG last year and he really enjoyed it. We're planning to go again this year. A great sibing event, no doubt! Who else is interested?
